A practice plan, and the data to prove it’s working
MyFretboardTrainer is free and always will be. Pro adds a structured program, long-term progress tracking, and blind-spot detection - funded by buying me a coffee. Here’s exactly how it works, and what it does with your practice, before you decide.
30 systematic modules
A step-by-step path from a single string to the whole fretboard, each unlocked by hitting its target. New here? A quick onboarding quiz places you at the right module, so you skip what you already know.
Progress tracking
Every note you practise - in the program or the normal free exercises - feeds a running picture of your accuracy, your speed, and your day streak. You can see yourself getting faster over time, not just guess at it.
Blind-spot detection
The notes you get wrong, or get right but slowly, are ranked weakest-first - per note, per string, and per direction (it takes at least three attempts on the same one before it can count as a blind spot, so a single slip doesn't). One tap drills exactly those, and every drill answer updates your weak spots, so the list keeps sharpening as you improve.
